Pulling on hard, dirty, burning rope, you watch your climber ascend.

The clock hits 7 AM and the wake up bell sounds. A few loud notes on the trumpet are played and I awake with the knowledge that my day will be littered with goodbyes.

Last Thursday, a group of campers, including me, went to the first white water rafting trip down the South Fork of the Great American River.

This session, our backpacking crew took some rad local adventures out of camp, led by Bugaboo, our Outdoor Living Skills Backpacking director.

Today was a busy day despite our river rafting campers gone on the rushing rapids of the American River!

We are in the second week of our second-to-last session.
