We are in the second week of our second-to-last session.
Having just finished the animal-themed olympics this weekend, the grounds have taken on the lived-in look of cardboard costumes, benches arranged in spectator semi-circles, and banners and poster proclaiming the virtues of bugs vs fish vs reptiles vs birds.
As we settle back into a new week we are looking forward to a few of our more specialized activities: riding the Downieville single track bike course on Wed and Fri, climbing at Big Chief in Tahoe, and Backpacking along the Jackson Meadows trail for a couple of days and nights of hiking fun.
