Horseback Riding

Imagine riding a horse through pine forests, meadows carpeted with ferns, across a creek, and along a mountain ridge with beautiful vistas and lake views. If that sounds fun, then reserve a trail ride!

Our horseback trail ride is an optional activity. (There is an additional charge for optional activities.) The 1-1/2 hour trail ride meanders through some beautiful pine forests and rolling hills near Gold Lake in the Lakes Basin Recreation Area.

All rides are led by professional wranglers and are an excellent way for you to get an introduction to riding horses. And if you're an experienced rider, you'll get some relaxing time on a horse and the opportunity to see some beautiful countryside. If you're a beginning rider, great! You'll be pared with the perfect horse and have a great time!
